Robert Bateman Canadian Artist extraordinaire has developed a computer virtual hike to inspire naturalists and artists to appreciate the outdoor experience.  Students can take virtual hikes in parks across Canada and learn about the species located at each park.  Robert speaks directly to the children in a video about using tools to develop artistic ideas and skills. Kids learn about animal, and plant sounds, shapes, colours and habitats to name a few.  Robert teaches children how to use field guides and non fiction books to develop accuracy in drawing.
