This session introduces a three-year, grant-funded project to develop OER-compatible copyright tutorials for a wide Canadian audience. Completed modules will be demonstrated and feedback about moving forward with the project solicited. The open nature of these works will be highlighted and opportunities for adaptation explored.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
– identify a copyright education community of practice
– promote the use, value, and creation of copyright OER by librarians
– explain the role of and describe opportunities for librarians in grant-funded, collaborative faculty projects
