Vivian Lewis has served as University Librarian at McMaster University since 2013. Vivian holds a M.A. from York University and a M.L.S. from the University of Toronto. She is a graduate of the Harvard Institute for Academic Librarians and a fellow of the Frye Leadership Institute and the ARL Research Library Leadership Fellows program. Vivian writes and speaks on a variety of topics including transformational change in academic libraries, new models of scholarly communication, and core competencies for academic librarians. She was Co-PI on a Mellon grant focusing on knowledge and skills required to support digital scholarship in a global context.
