The past decade has seen a rapid growth of French-immersion schooling in Ontario. This session will explore resources to help library staff better serve French-speaking children (ages 0-12) and their parents and educators. Topics include storytime, songs, booktalks, programs, and more.
Learning objectives: 1) Get familiar with resources that will help you serve children, their parents and their educators, even if you don’t speak French. 2) find ideas (and the confidence) to implement French programs with the help of your community. 3) Discover authors and titles that will inspire your students’ love of reading in French.
