Libraries are making a transition in how they are using data: while reporting activity counts are still required by the province, many libraries are using data to determine how libraries contribute to social outcomes such as improved literacy, increased civic engagement, etc.

Engaging our stakeholders during this transition is critical. This session will provide delegates with strategies and tactics for communicating these changes to boards and partners to demonstrate the benefits of data-supported approaches to service design. Presenters will facilitate discussion among delegates to brainstorm useful approaches to demonstrate the advantages of using data to improve professional practice and deliver services that delight our members.
