Join the Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility for an informative session about Ontario’s progress in making libraries more accessible for people with disabilities. The session will include an overview and Q&A regarding the requirements for libraries in the Accessibility for Ontarian’s with Disabilities Act, 2005, and an update on useful tools, resources and technology that will help make your libraries accessible to different groups.

Learning objectives:
· Share examples of how accessibility standards are making an impact across Ontario

· Teach participants where to go to find resources (e.g. resources to develop accessible literature)

· Attendees will also have the opportunity to share their best practices around removing barriers for people with disabilities in their communities.
