We’ve heard about the STEM revolution, but what about how our students communicate their thinking through making? It’s the make writing revolution! During this hands-on workshop participants will make using low and high tech tools, approaching writing as a physical and collaborative endeavor. We will explore how to facilitate play as part of the creative and writing process linking directly to the curricular expectations. Finally, we will show how designing authentic learning and “making” experiences allow for students to connect to real and authentic audiences.
