Description:

Games are an effective way of increasing learner attention and retention, providing opportunities for both fun and experiential learning. This workshop will provide examples of both physical and digital ways to incorporate games into your teaching of library concepts like information literacy, research portfolio development, and information access, as well as discussions of why they work and support learning outcomes. Attendees will also understand the fundamentals of constructing your own physical or digital learning games.
