Ali is an Open Education Librarian at the University of Guelph, which resides on the ancestral land of the Attawandaron people and the current treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit. In this role, she educates and liaises with the university community on open content, licensing, and student-centred pedagogy. Her current research interests are focused on precarity and labour in academia, and the library leadership industrial complex. Ali and her occasionally sassy commentary can be found @aliversluis.
