Amanda is a Public Services Librarian with the London Public Library, where she started working after obtaining her Master’s in Library and Information Science from Western University. Previously, she worked with food insecurity and newcomer families at Halifax Public Libraries. She also holds a Bachelor’s in Law and two teaching degrees from Brazil, where she worked as an English as a Second Language teacher for ten years, before moving to Canada in 2016. She is passionate about celebrating Canada’s diversity and bringing different perspectives into our social discourse.
