Amanda Halfpenny-Lavender has dedicated over 12 years to working in and with libraries in three provinces: Quebec, New Brunswick, and Ontario. Amanda rejects the silos that exist in Libraryland and is proud to have worked at public, academic, government, and school libraries. She is passionate about young people and has worked in the school libraries of the Conseil Scolaire Viamonde (one of Ontario’s many public French school boards) since 2011. Amanda has also collaborated with consultants specializing in the field of libraries and information services to assist organizations find creative and collaborative solutions that require higher-level problem solving.
