Amber Allen works in the Learning and Curriculum Support department at the University of Guelph Library, offering information literacy and research support to the colleges of business and biological science. Prior to this role, she’s worked as a librarian at York University, University of Toronto, and Herzing College. She holds an MI from the University of Toronto, a BA from York, and she is currently working towards a Teacher/Trainer for Online Learning certificate through Conestoga College. Her research and service interests include precarious work for new librarians, the intersections of motherhood and academic librarianship, wellness at work initiatives, and inclusive instruction.
