Danica is a 2nd year PhD student in Library and Information Science. Her primary research interest is in how people relate to and understand AI, particularly the affective elements of that relation, such as trust, and how these affective stances towards AI influence their decision making and behaviour. Danica has also been involved with Indigenous initiatives in the Faculty of Information and Media Studies at Western, such as course development and the development of the Smoke Signals archive research project.
