Douglas Davey is the Manager of Children’s and Youth Services at the Halton Hills Public Library, a medium-sized system in the northwest corner of the GTA. He has served as Chair the OPLA’s Child and Youth Committee, and is currently an OPLA Council Member. He is a frequent presenter on a variety of topics including parents and libraries, comics and graphic novels, and LGBTQ+ services. He is also an author of YA fiction. His hobbies include board and video games, cryptic crosswords, and building cosplays. He lives in Guelph with his family of bookworms.
