Jaron Fitch is a Customer Service Librarian at the Oshawa Public Libraries. Presently, his work is focused on serving the public and implementing and facilitating programs for library customers. This involves interacting with a variety of people, all of whom have different needs, who are dealing with varying life situations. Before achieving a Masters of Information at the University of Toronto, Jaron had a career as a paramedic where he provided emergency services to people in physical and/or mental distress. He strives to conduct himself professionally in his workplace while being empathetic to the individual circumstances of library customers and handling such situations with safety and respect.
