Lorna Schultz Nicholson is a Canadian author who has written picture books, middle grade fiction and non-fiction, YA fiction and adult non-fiction. She believes in diversity. She wrote the teen One-2-One series (Clockwise Press), which includes diverse characters and mental health issues. Fragile Bones, Born With and Bent Not Broken were all nominated for the Red Maple Award with the Forest of Reading. Her Podium Sports Academy series (Lorimer), included topics on eating disorders, depression and suicide. Recently, she was on the CAMH (Center for addiction and mental health) Difference Makers National Committee.
