Lydia Thorne is a Public Services Librarian at the J.W. Scott Health Sciences Library, University of Alberta. In this role, she provides consultations, develops and teaches classes and workshops, and assists faculty, students, and researchers completing systematic reviews and other types of knowledge syntheses.
Lydia holds an MLIS from the University of Western Ontario (2016) and has worked in the area of health sciences librarianship for the past two years. A recent graduate and aspiring full time librarian, she is passionate about advocacy, mentorship, and connecting with other early career information professionals.
