Mirna El Sabbagh has more than ten years of experience as a humanitarian and development practitioner. Prior to her current role as Stakeholders Engagement Manager for COSTI, she has held various senior positions with the United Nations and British Council in Lebanon. Through her work for COSTI, she developed positive relationships and partnerships with external stakeholder groups, including volunteer groups, settlement organizations, donors, community groups, and government agencies that helped refugee newcomers overcome some of the barriers they face during their first year of settlement. Mirna strives to promote harmony, between Canada’s diverse communities in the hope of contributing to a more inclusive Canadian society.
