Nadia Caidi is a Professor at the Faculty of Information, University of Toronto. Her research focuses on migrant information behavior, diversity in LIS, and information policy.
Current research has focused on the attractiveness of LIS careers to students and alumni stemming from diverse backgrounds, the diversity of LIS professions, and in the curriculum. The aim is to expand on the values of diversity, with an eye toward re conceptualizing it as powerful force for advancing the information professions.
Dr. Caidi was 2016 President of International Association for Information Science & Technology & 2011 President of Canadian Association for Information Science.
