Sarah Ziolkowska is currently the Youth Librarian at Halifax North Memorial Public Library, where she has helped to implement the library’s FoodSmart Project. Before joining Halifax Public Libraries she was a School Librarian in the United States.
How can public libraries help to reshape the social fabric of their communities? This session will provide a snapshot of how food programming can be a powerful outreach tool to empower and welcome new communities.
