Spending over 25 years in leadership roles at UTML (one of the busiest libraries at UofT), Shelley served as Coordinator of Collection Management and Associate Librarian, Collections and Scholarship before becoming Chief Librarian. As Chief Librarian, Shelley leads an exceptional team of librarians and staff in the provision of library services and programming which support the academic mission of the campus and the university. Shelley hopes that her leadership style is reflected in the motto she has hanging on her office wall. “Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.”
